Driving to Lake Tahoe

Sophia kept busy in the back seat as we started our vacation to Lake Tahoe and Monterey.

We drove up Hwy 395 and took in beautiful 

Mt. Whitney and Mono Lake!

Spectacular!

We finally made it to Uncle Joe's cabin by 2:30pm that 

afternoon. The weather was a perfect 80 degrees, sunny, and 

the air smelled fresh and fragrant!

Sophia was very excited to help Daddy open his birthday presents!

when Sophia finally handed them over!

Sophia and Uncle David wrapped up the evening with a few songs on the guitar.

A Play Date with Evan and Austen

Sophia had a play date at the park with two of her long time playmates Evan and Austen. We have known them since Evan was six months old (one day younger than Sophia) and Austen was four months old...wow, time is really flying! Sleep Over at Grandma and Papa Grimm's House

Fourth of July

Here Sophia is rockin' her new Fourth of July summer dress that her cousins Jill, Bob, and Erika gave her for her 2nd birthday!

A Visit From Our Friends Up North

Frank, Jodie, and Grace came down for a 

quick visit this 4th of July weekend...

it was so nice to see them! I wish we lived closer to each other!
