A Day of Fun and Exploration with Daddy
Today Sophia and Daddy went on an adventure
to Monrovia Wilderness Park to visit Samson the
Bear and do a little rock hopping along the creek.
Sophia made observations with her magnifying glass
and inspected rocks and sticks along the path.
The perfect finish to a perfect day...
lunch at Daddy's favorite sandwich shop!

at the Los Angeles Zoo and made a new
friend while they were there!

A Visit to the LA Zoo with Sophia's Cousins
Anthony, Leo, Sophia and Annabella were
ready for their zoo adventure!
This friendly seal welcomed us to the zoo.
Heading into the zoo, we stopped by to say hello
to the meerkats and flamingos.
We headed to the LAIR to see the reptiles and amphibians!
No exhibit went unexplored!
It was so hot, the kids probably would have wanted
to jump in the water...except they would
have had company! Yikes!
A quick ride on the alligator...
Leo was the Map Master and kept us on course!
The Komodo Dragon got everyone's attention...
he was huge!
Sophia was fascinated by the zebras!
The kids got up close and personal with one of the chimpanzees.
Whoa! Those are some big hands!
This guy had the right idea lounging in the shade!
Time for an ice cream break to cool down!
Then we were off to the Petting Zoo!
Leo was fearless!
Our last stop was to say goodbye to the seal who did flips for us!
It was an awesome day at the
LA Zoo with Sophia's cousins!
