Playgroup at Almansor Park in Alhambra

Playgroup was at Almansor Park in Alhambra today. 

There was a big pond and so many swans...we lost count!

And boy were they hungry!!!

  Wow, Sophia! That's a brave move!

This is fun Mom! Ella's thinking there's no way she'll even try that!

 

 All that swan feeding made the kids hungry, too!

 Adlai showed off his baseball skills!

 Hey...are those hats or bases?

 Go for it, Charlie! Sophia's ready to catch the ball! 

 A quick game of chase, with Chase...Sophia never gets tired of that!

Another awesome day with her playgroup buddies!

A Visit to the Fire Station

Sophia and her pal, Charlie, made cookies for the local firemen 

and made a surprise visit to the Firehouse to say hello and 

to show them how much they are appreciated!

She even got to sit in the fire engine!

There were so many buttons and switches! 

This is a big truck, Mom! 

After Charlie and Sophia looked around a little, it 

was time to get going so the firemen could get back to work!

The Fireman thanked Sophia for the delicious cookies and 

invited her back any time she wanted to stop by again! 

Awesome! We will!

Mother's Day at Disneyland

Daddy surprised us with a special Mother's Day 

stay at the Disneyland Hotel!

 Here's the view of our Fantasy Tower from the pool.

First thing we did was jump in the pool!

There were super cool Sophia-sized slides too! 

Sophia lounged while drying off...then it was off to dinner!

 

Sophia got all dressed up in her Sleeping
Beauty dress for her big night! 

We walked around the hotel grounds and took a bunch of pictures. 

We finally arrived at Goofy's Kitchen!

Goofy was there to greet us and gave Sophia a huge hug!

 Sophia met Minnie Mouse...

 Cinderella...

Pluto...

Chip and Dale... 

and even Snow White came to our table to see her!

Well, off to bed Princess Sophia...

we have a big day at Disneyland tomorrow!

Sporting her sunglasses and Minnie Mouse t-shirt and hair bow,

Sophia was rearing to go!

We saw so many magical things in Downtown Disney!

Our first stop was Sleeping Beauty's Castle... 

followed by the Tea Cups!

Woo hoo!

Sophia and Daddy experienced the Alice 

and Wonderland ride...far out!

We stopped by Pixie Hollow...Fairies Welcome!

 Sophia met two fairies... Iridessa and Rosetta!

We blasted back in Tomorrow Land! To infinity and beyond!!! 

In Fantasy Land...Um, this sword isn't budging!

Ugh...all this amusement is so exhausting!

We slowed down to take a ride on the Mark Twain...very relaxing.

Then it was off to Pooh Corner!

Sophia cuddled up to Tiger and Pooh!

Ice cream break! Ah, life is good! 

There's nothing better than strawberry ice cream on a hot day!

We visited the old firehouse and took a twirl on the carousel! 

Sophia finally met one of her favorite princesses, Rapunzel...

and Flinn Rider was there too!

After a float through It's A Small World, 

we sat down to watch the parade.

 Minnie Mouse, Snow White, Cinderella, and Belle were all there!

 

 What a great day!
