Adventure City

Today we took Sophia to Adventure City in Buena Park, Ca.

Every ride there was tailored to Sophia's age and size!

Of course our ride was on the Carousel, followed by the bi-planes!

Next, she was zooming off on the roller coaster

with Daddy close by her side!

Sophia put her muscles to work when she 

powered her very own push train!

Then we took a trip around the park in a much 

larger choo choo...which was a lot less work too!

We stopped by the petting zoo to meet some of the local residents. 

We took a quick photo with Thomas the Train before

relaxing at the train depot for kids.

We got in a few more rides before we headed home...

It was the perfect sized day!

Reading with Good Friends

Doing a little reading on the stairs with my friends...

Hiking in Eaton Canyon Park

Sophia met two of her best buddies, Miles and Ella, at 

Eaton Canyon this morning to do a little hiking, 

rock climbing, and exploring of nature!

The kids looked under rocks and in old tree stumps for bugs.

We observed wild flowers and the majestic mountains.

While hiking, the kids picked up sticks and used 

their magnifying glasses to look closely 

at leaves, rocks, and insects.

After some snacks, we went rock climbing in 

the river bed and practiced our balancing.

We had a blast getting outdoors and back to nature!

Sophia's Happiest Place on Earth!

Today Sophia had a play date with her friends Charlie, Miles, Ella, 

Harli, Brett, and Adlai at the Happiest Place on Earth!

We started our adventure in Tomorrowland on the Rockets!

The kids were amazed at how high they flew!

Sophia was fearless and took the controls!

Next it was off to the carousel for a ride on the horsie.

Then we went for a spin on the teacups! Wheee..... 

Ella, Miles, and Sophia spun around laughing! 

It's a Small World allowed us to get our balance back as we 

floated through the many countries of the world.

And of course a trip to Disneyland wouldn't be complete 

without visiting the Princess Fantasy Faire.

Sophia dressed up in her princess best for the princess 

story time hour...this time Princess Aurora told us a story!

Sophia met a fair lady at the Princess Faire.

In Toon Town we went to Mickey Mouse's house!

 Mickey Mouse greeted Sophia and admired
her beautiful princess dress.

Sophia held Mickey's hand, but was a little

 overwhelmed by all the attention.

 Hari, Charlie, and Sophia jumped into Mickey's 

toon car for a quick spin...

Minnie Mouse was out on her porch greeting her guests 

when we walked by and welcomed us in for a visit!

 Sophia tipped toed through the tulips and fell in love with the rose 

pillars in Minnie's garden...guess we'll have to get 

some of these for our garden at home!

 We had so much fun at Disneyland!
