Happy Halloween!

This year we met up with Sophia's long time pal, Austin, 

in downtown Sierra Madre for some good 

old fashioned trick-or-treating fun!

Sophia was thrilled to be Minnie Mouse this year, 

but has already informed us that she will be Belle 

from Beauty and the Beast next year.

The local vendors opened their doors to hand out candy.

"Look at all the candy I have Mommy!"

Those two ruled the streets of Sierra Madre...

it was hard to keep up!

"I think I'm liking all this free candy, Mom."

We had a spooktacular time trick-or-treating!

Pumpkin Carving with Daddy and Mommy

Daddy started us off by cutting the top of the pumpkin.

 

 Sophia helped scoop out all the seeds!

 

Them Mommy and Sophia drew the jack-o-lantern's face.

After watching for a few minutes, Sophia took 

control and worked on carving the jack-o-lantern! 

 

I did it! 

Yup Sophia, you are a real pro carver now!

Nestle Halloween Festival

Craig's employer, Nestle USA, hosted their annual 

Halloween festival for their employees and their families. 

This year's theme was Halloween Adventures!

Sophia began her Halloween adventure with a graveyard dig.

 

Then it was time to do a little trick-or-treating from the many 

candy-filled caldrons that were conveniently located every 10 feet!

With Daddy's help, Sophia made her very own 

"True Blood" cocktail!

(Apple juice and red food coloring...ha!)

We stopped off at the petting zoo for a quick 

visit with the barnyard animals.

And of course, the highlight of the festival was the jumpy!

We finished up our Halloween adventure 

with some pumpkin decorating.

We had a ghoulish good time!

Art Class and Victory Park with Jack

Today in art class Sophia made play dough shapes, 

letters, and animals with her friend Jack.

 

Then it was off to the park...

Going for a ride on a dinosaur...

Finger Painting in Art Class

 Sophia expressed her artistic talents through 

finger paints today in art class! 

What a fun mess!
