Christmas 2010 at Grandma and Grandpa Grimm's

A morning filled with love, wonder, and delight! Sophia's second Christmas exceeded our wildest expectations! All the grandparents went above and beyond in making sure Sophia was well spoiled!

Look at my new baby doll!

Opening gifts on the couch with Grandma and Great Grandma.

Giving love to Great Grandma.

And kisses too!

And to all a good night...

Counting Down the Days Until Christmas

Sophia and Daddy opened a new window on the Advent Calendar every night after dinner and Sophia shared the little piece of chocolate...first by taking a little bite for herself and then giving the other half to Daddy. It was so cute to watch. Good sharing Sophia!

Thanksgiving and Black Olives

Thanksgiving wouldn't be complete without black olives to snack on! And Sophia just loves them...especially putting them on her fingers before she eats them!

Trying on Daddy's Shoes for Size

Sophia is obsessed with trying on everyone's shoes...especially Daddy's shoes! But standing up in them is a whole other story!

Hanging With Uncle David

Sophia spent the day hanging out with Uncle David at Grandma and Grandpa's house.  She enjoys swinging on the bench in the front yard with her Uncle David while discussing world affairs...toddler style of course!

Exploring Kidspace Children's Museum with Griffin

Today we met up with my girlfriend Elise and her son Griffin at Kidspace Children's Museum in Pasadena.  The kids explored the very hands-on museum and toured the gardens and us mommies talked and caught up on each other's lives.

Sophia in the driver's seat searching for fossils.

Using her sense of touch to learn about flowers.

And of course, every good museum has a climbing exhibit.

A quick visit to the playground to burn some energy.

Sophia was very busy organizing the fruits and vegetables in the playhouse.

Playing chase with Griffin in the gardens.

Looks like she caught him...or did he catch her?

Friendship...sealed with a kiss.

Sophia Could Swing All Day!

Seems like Sophia can never get enough swinging time in! I was the same way when I was a kid...there's something theraputic in it...plus it's a whole lot of fun!
